Health, safety, security and the environment (HSSE)

At Mubadala Energy, we are committed to health, safety, security and the environment (HSSE). Our focus is to safeguard all our employees, contractors and communities in the vicinity of our assets.

We continuously seek to improve our HSSE performance and foster a culture of collective and personal responsibility. Employees of all levels must perform their work with diligence and have regard for the integrity of our assets. Everyone is empowered to intervene and stop any unsafe acts or address any unsafe conditions they observe.

Asset Integrity is an important part of our HSSE focus and we ensure all of our facilities adhere to the highest standards. To achieve this, we have implemented an asset integrity management program at all of our operational sites and projects. This program aims to ensure the technical integrity of our facilities, including processing systems, pipelines and platform structures.

We have consistently demonstrated this commitment by providing market leading resources and ensuring policies and procedures are properly executed. By placing HSSE management processes & policies at the center of our operations, we aim to eliminate or reduce business loss. Our processes mandates that potential risks or hazards to be identified, controlled and mitigated at the outset of every operation. This results in an enhanced business performance, where operational incidents are minimized; ultimately creating a safer working environment for everyone associated with our operations.

Over the past several years, we have delivered award-winning HSSE performance by ensuring a continuous improvement process across all operations. In benchmarking against other energy companies represented in the International Association of Oil & Gas Producers (IOGP) annual HSE reports, our performance has been consistently categorized in the top quartile and higher than the industry average.
