Established in 2012 as Mubadala Petroleum, in 2022 we became Mubadala Energy.
Our growth-focused strategy aims to expand the global portfolio across the gas value chain and into new energy sectors. By doing this we are playing a critical role in helping deliver energy security while supporting the energy transition.
We are an international energy company, headquartered in Abu Dhabi, with activities in 11 countries. Our portfolio is 69 per cent gas and we produce over 370,000 Barrels of Oil Equivalent a Day (boed), while actively pursuing opportunities in new energy sectors.
We have set out a clear sustainability strategy underpinned by the belief that creating value for our shareholder, our employees and wider society is key to the success and resilience of our business.

Mubadala Energy is committed to playing an active role in the energy transition and has set out a clear strategy to do this by focusing on gas as a key bridge fuel and exploring new energy sectors such as carbon capture and blue hydrogen.
